Dress Code

Dress Code by Class

  • If your student will be participating in our Creative Movement or Dance Basics class, please ensure they come prepared with the following items:

    • A leotard or dance dress in one of our designated colors (white, black, green, burgundy, or pink).

    • Canvas ballet shoes in a ballet pink shade.

    • Tan tap shoes (required).

    • Tights in either a pink or flesh-tone shade.

    • Optional dance skirt or shorts.

    • Hair must be styled in a bun or up-do.

    OR

    • Solid-colored shirt in one of our designated colors (white, black, green, burgundy, or pink).

    • Black-fitted athletic pants or shorts.

    • Canvas ballet shoes in black color.

  • If you are a ballet dancer between the ages of 6 and 18, please adhere to the following dress code:

    • Wear a leotard in the approved colors, which include black, green, and burgundy.

    • Canvas ballet shoes in a ballet pink shade.

    • Tights in either pink or a flesh-tone shade.

    • Optional dance skirt or shorts.

    • Hair must be styled in a bun or up-do.

    OR

    • solid-colored shirt in one of our designated colors (white, black, green, burgundy).

    • Black-fitted athletic pants or shorts.

    • Canvas ballet shoes in black color.

  • As a Lyrical or Contemporary dancer, you can choose to wear any combination of the following:

    • Ballet class leotard.

    • A solid-colored top.

    • Loose or fitted dance pants (leggings, yoga pants, or joggers).

    • Optional dance socks or ballet shoes.

    • Hair pulled up and away from the face.

  • Jazz class dancers, can choose to wear any combination of the following:

    • Ballet class leotard.

    • A solid colored-form fitted top

    • Fitted black leggings or jazz pants.

    • Tan split-sole jazz shoes.

    • Optional dance socks.

    • Hair pulled up and away from the face.

  • For hip hop, it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement, along with white dance sneakers or street sneakers. Please avoid wearing the sneakers directly from the street to the class and carry them with you instead.
